Kristina Åberg is one of the founders and the CEO of Atmo.
Besides being the producer behind films like The Nile Hilton Incident, Tommy, Metropia and Regretters, Kristina Åberg has produced several TV-series and documentaries, including Gitmo by Erik Gandini and Tarik Saleh and The Voice by Johan Söderberg.
Before founding Atmo, Kristina Åberg worked as a producer for several SVT productions, and as a reporter at the foreign affairs desks of national news programs. She has been on assignments in the Middle East, South Africa and Bosnia.
She holds degrees in journalism, political science and business management.
Between 2010 and 2012 Kristina Åberg was the chairman for the film producer’s section of the Swedish Film and TV producer's association.
Recently Kristina Åberg was named Producer of the Year.
